I absolutly love this photo. The colors from the sunset reflecting on the ocean are so rich and vibrant. They really make this photo look so alive like you can almost crawl through your screen and go for a swim. You can almost smell the salty air just looking at it. This was taken during the covid lockdown in May 2020. I was walking around a local San Diego Pier at sun set and happened to snap this near the end of the day just before I got kicked off the pier. This is my biggest seller, and it actually placed me in first place in the photography competion at my day job.

Walter White came to visit me, and we decided to take a few close-up photos of his special meth for marketing purposes. Just kidding, the truth is I had just gotten a super macro lens and was experimenting with it. The photo you see here is of some blue sugar sprinkles people put on cookies. But it truly looks amazing; the blues here are so rich, and the detail is incredible. I have to admit that taking a photo like this was a real challenge. At this magnification, my focus area was in millimeters; the slightest vibration would throw my composition out of focus, and it took another 10 minutes to get back to the perfect composition. Even the movement of the camera’s shutter would throw off the focus.
